How many types of eating we should know of and understand?
Whether you’re trying to lose weight or simply maintain your healthy lifestyle, it’s important to categorize the ways you eat so that you can understand when you’re eating for reasons other than nourishment. FOX19 NOW recently spoke with St. Elizabeth Healthcare nutritionist Karah Stanley to learn more about the different types of eating and how you can best manage yours.
Type 4 – Fog Eating
This is when you’re eating without being conscious of it. For example, you might grab a handful of chips while watching your favorite television show and not realize how much you’ve eaten until the bag is empty. This also includes snacking when you’re distracted or hungry. This is also known as “emotional” eating.
