Thank you for being so open, Nina. Exercise is an area that I am struggling with in my recovery. I didn’t play sports as a child, so I didn’t do any formal “exercise” until the eating disorder came into my life. I find that “boot camp” type exercises or videos that talk about burning calories/fat etc to be very triggering. For me, exercise has to feel natural and fun. I like to turn on music and dance, do yoga, go on a walk, and ride my bike for transportation (not on a long ride “to burn calories”).
